Installs in approximately 30 seconds and starts working immediately. Every outdoor patio heater should come with the heater hot. Worked as advertised October 10, 2020 Reviewer: D. L. Miller from West Bloomfield, MI United States   Not seeing  them before purchasing made me a little apprehensive.  I took the chance anyway,  and ordered two.  I am so happy I did.  They were super easy to install.  I can’t believe how much heat was escaping before I installed these Heater Hats.  I highly recommend them.  They were little pricy but worth the money.  The quality is very very high. We absolutely love the heater hat. October 29, 2019 Reviewer: Ruth Allard from Prairie Grove, AR United States   The heater hat is perfect.  Our back patio has a over hang with ceiling fan. We bought a 7' outdoor heater and could not use it underneath the covered patio because the heat would have melted the vinyl ceiling.  Now the heat goes down and keeps us warm and no worries about the ceiling.  We are soooooooo happy Was this review helpful to you?

Awesome Product March 10, 2019 Reviewer: Ruben- BBQ Master from Costa Mesa, CA United States   I am an Outdoor BBQ Enthusiast, I live in my backyard, year around. As soon as I received I installed. Upon initial lighting I got the initial burn-off, as expected. That night it was 52 degrees and we were impressed with how much more heat radiated from are patio heaters. After doing some analysis, I can now place my patio heaters under my awnings without fear of canvas igniting or even getting too warm. I will never use my heaters without them. AWESOME.
